Our 2 year anniversary of the merger between the Berean Church and Faith Evangelical Free Church was actually last month.  This weekend, however, we are having our 2 year anniversary celebration.   I think God has done some amazing things through the merger even in our own community.   You can read about the merger here, here, here and here.

Whenever I think about it I realize how awesome God is.  To be able to heal broken relationships between two bodies of believers (that used to be one) is always an amazing thing.  I think it’s a real testimony to the community as well as to what God can do and the fact that Christians don’t always have to fight amongst each other.  I once saw a church sign that said, “They will know we are Christians by our blood.”  How true that sign really is.  If we, as Christians, spent more time trying to get along and less time bickering and fighting then I think our communities would really take notice.
